PRINT::PHOTOGRAPHY

My work documents my experiences of places and their surrounding environment and the relationship that is formed with them. I am interested in details that suggest a subject's story; peeled wallpaper revealing previous lives, layers of undisturbed dust; redundant interiors.

My images are carefully constructed to try to expose the true character and feeling that I have experienced at that time. I intend for the composition to engage the viewer with place or space, revealing it's secrets and at the same time allowing the audience to enjoy their simplicities of subject matter.

I work with both photography and mixed media. This gives me the freedom to be experimental, as well as challenging my ideas on how I think my work should be interpreted
